Colorful flora and fauna span two sections of retaining wall along a primary thoroughfare in Hudson, Wisconsin. Pictured pollinators include bees, bats, butterflies, and a hummingbird. Other creatures include a fox, a snake, a mole, a frog, a dragonfly, earthworms, and snails, The roots of an actual large tree continue in painted form on the mural. Iconic red and white amanita muscaria mushrooms figure prominently.
This community mural was commissioned by Ciranda, a company that connects food producers with organic, non-GMO ingredients with an emphasis on sustainability and fair-trade practices. Lead artist Liz Malanaphy outlined the work and then recruited community members of all ages to help her paint it in.

This stencil image of bees appears against a colorful graffiti-painted wall in the Hackney Wick neighborhood of east London, England. The artist posted the image on Instagram in August 2020 with the message, "Bees. If they go extinct we'll follow."
